Wil-Med Global has a great little business offering refurbished dialysis machines to clinics around the world.
This is a really great opportunity to send much needed dialysis equipment to third world countries where clinics are few and far between.
Goal to Create Great Looking Website
The problem is that not many people knew about their products and services. Most people were just buying used equipment off of the Internet and trying to fix them up themselves. When Wil-Med remanufactures these machines, they use original parts and completely repaint everything producing a far superior product with an included warranty. Our challenge was to get the word out and find a way to take their existing advertising budget to reach more people and educate them about Wil-Med’s solutions.
Research and Design for a Best Layout and Structure
Our first step was to really get into the industry and understand how their business stacked up against everyone else in the world. Next, we needed to make sure that we truly understood their customer and figure out what they were searching for and how we could get Wil-Med in front of them.
Building the Great Website
The first thing we fixed was their website. It needed to be search engine friendly so that we could help their website get indexed for organic search results. Then we created a path for potential customers to follow and request an estimate. Once we did this, we directed traffic right into the entrance to this path and watched as conversion began to skyrocket.
Achieving Our Primary Goal
Wil-Med Global went from spending about $5,000 a year for Google advertising and getting an average of 15 leads per year to spending absolutely nothing and generating 25 unique leads a month. Not bad considering the average order for Wil-Med is between 5-6 figures each. The truth is, with a little bit more work, we could actually improve these results more.
